Reports, staff, and private work

SHOW OFF is a social network. Everyday use — posts, stories, likes, comments, messages, Private Showrooms — stays between you and the people you share with. This page is the access policy for the small operations desk that runs the service.

Who can open operations

Only a verified founder email configured on the server can set up operations. Names, usernames, and email prefixes never grant access. The first visitor and ordinary accounts cannot claim it. Staff is checked on the server for every request. Your public profile does not show a staff badge. Regular accounts cannot reach the desk, even if they guess the address.

What staff see by default

• How many people are here, and how many were active.
• Public posts and Private Showrooms, so reported material can be hidden.
• Reports you send, and a written decision when they are closed.
• Whether Private Showroom checkout is on, and how many showrooms are active or waiting.
• Recorded app errors and a rough storage estimate.
• Counts of Private Showrooms and of conversations — counts only.

What staff do not browse

Private Showrooms, and the text of messages, are not on the routine desk. Forwarding a link does not grant staff access. Public feeds, search, and notifications still follow the same rules as everyone else.

When restricted content is opened

If a safety or support case requires it — for example a report about harassment in a DM, or a legal request — an admin or owner can file a logged request with a written reason (and an optional ticket). That request opens metadata: who owns a Private Showroom, its visibility, how many files it has; or who is in a conversation and how many messages it has. Media files and message bodies stay closed unless the owner of the service confirms a second step. Every lookup is written to an audit log. Support staff cannot open message bodies.

Reports and suspensions

Anyone signed in can report a public post, a person, a Private Showroom preview, music, or a conversation they belong to — including a copyright / takedown request. Staff can hide a public post, suspend an abusive account, or restore either, and must record why. A suspended account cannot post or message. The owner account cannot be suspended from the desk.

Health & Wellness

Health & Wellness is a community category for educational notes and practice. It is not a replacement for licensed medical care. SHOW OFF does not collect private patient information and does not verify medical credentials.

Places & Real Estate

Places & Real Estate is a community showcase for spaces, buildings, neighborhoods, and projects. It is not an MLS, brokerage, or marketplace. SHOW OFF does not list inventory for sale, process real-estate transactions, or verify licenses.

Support links

A Private Showroom owner may add an optional “Support This Project” address. SHOW OFF does not take that money. Before the link opens, people see that they are leaving SHOW OFF. Unsafe addresses (anything other than a normal https website) are rejected. Anyone who can see the Private Showroom can report a suspicious link.

What this does not claim

Screenshots, recordings, and copies someone already saved cannot be taken back. Hosting this app on any platform does not, by itself, make private content unreadable. Payments stay off until Stripe is connected. There is no live charge in the current configuration. Health content is educational, not care. Places & Real Estate is a showcase, not an MLS.
